coffee + tea self-serve station for your guests

With several fall and winter holidays quickly approaching, you might be soon welcoming guests into your homes. If you're looking for something to make their mornings a little more special, why not treat those guests to a fun coffee and/or tea station.

In this blog, I explore how you can create a guest-worthy coffee and/or tea station that requires minimal effort on your part. And I'll share how you can keep coffee beans and tea leaves and bags fresh all year round using Ball® Jars.

Below are Neat Little Nest's top tips for setting up your version of a holiday guest coffee + tea entertaining station.

a tray helps create a focal point + carafes make self-serve easy
Use a tray that stands out from your counters for the most visual impact.

An easy way to create a coffee and/or tea station for your guests is to simply use a tray to create a focal point. Using a tray sets the stage and organizes all of your station's pieces and parts.

Carafes are a wonderful way to serve hot liquids in your coffee and/or tea station. They allow you to keep the beverages hot over time, while allowing your guests to self-serve. If you don't have a carafe, just set your coffee pot or coffee pod machine near the station so self-serving is still a breeze.

Ball® jars organize ingredients well

I have always loved using Ball® Ball(R) Pint Jars and Leakproof Storage Lids to store coffee beans and tea bags/leaves in the pantry. They have a longer shelf life stored in airtight containers than they would in their original packaging and the jars add a layer of beauty with their visual appeal.

fun ingredients up the surprise + delight

Of course you will want the classic hot beverage accoutrements like cream and sugar at your station, but consider adding some unexpected or slightly indulgent side items like chocolate covered biscuit sticks, peppermint sticks or honey spoons to up level the surprise + delight factor for your guests. Check out a few of my favorite holiday accoutrements.

With just a wee bit of planning and a handful of Ball® Jars, you can have a festive coffee + tea station set up for your guests in no time at all!
